Next thing someone will suggest that ribbed ones will yield higher torque number.

Nice red high temp silicone hose connections.
Imagine if Porsche had access to high temp silicone back in the late 70's.

51 mm? Hmmm...that's working for you? I'm curious, because we had tried 51 mm silicone hose on our 84 and 85 Euros in the past, too. The cars were each supercharged at the time, and the hoses blew off under boost and leaked horribly.

Maybe it's only a problem with boost, and not for a stock set up. Huh. Live and learn.

We ended up getting 48 mm hose that we got from Street Unit. Bonus...they happened to be made from better quality silicone than the original 51's we bought from somewhere else, too. (No affiliation...just a satisfied customer.)

(excuse the mess, it was still under construction at the time)

Hi John, I'm still around , been rather busy but unfortunately not with the 928 apart from getting a '90 GT to go with the S4 auto & another old German performance car (6 speed 340bhp) that's meant to share one part with the 928.

Hi

Good job...but...I think that bottom under plenum one was a mistake...

As someone who takes the spider legs off with regular monotony for my Nitrous system ,that bottom one needs more flexibility than the solid hose you used can give....I use the same but in blue for mine, but only on top 8 and I "think" you might find that the underneath one will either leak or cause leaks elsewhere...imho...

All the best Brett
