Taking VehiGaz's adivce and coming back via Lousville and Memphis.
1000 miles.
Providing my plane is on time and the transcation does not take more than a few miniutes I should be well on my way by late evening. Home for lunch as long as she keeps going.
Bag of tools and get you home fix its and a AAA Plat card - should be OK.
Call if you want to know how its going 972 523 9128.

Race Car
Love the green and the interior color is absolutely RICH.
Are Pashas restorable?
What a great car. I suppose that I would prefer it without the spoiler, but that is nit picking.
Good catch! Frogs are hard to find and nab, aren't they?
Enjoy!

Now for the epic story.
Picked the car up in Dayton.
Pretty much as described - very solid car and fairly unmolested.
Whoever did the spoilers did the job correctly both front and rear. Front brake ducts and all.
Spoilers will stay on the car.
1) No A/C - took some R12 with me but the system is f***ed.
2) Front needs an alignment - no joking - I went through to the canvas on the front tires within 100 miles. A quick trip to Sears in Elizabethtown and two cheap tires fixed that problem.
3) Oil leak - no joke - I used 5 gallons of oil on the 1000 mile trip. The smoke screen would have made James Bond proud. At least the cops could not see me 8>).
The cam cover is leaking and the oil fill also.
Apart from that the car is amazing. Cruising at 100 KPH (nudge nudge wink wink) I got 20 to the gallon on the gas. Oil was about $12 a gallon 8>) Needs some TLC, TB & WP, A/C and plug the hole in the Torre Canyon (Brit joke).
The passenger side mirror was an option back then - I sure missed it.

Jim you may be right as the PO had just replaced the tie rod and that's what screwed up the alignment.
Front Toe was LHS 1.3degrees & RHS 1.76 Degrees.
