Updating thread with throttle body butterfly shaft screw size (MY 1986 domestic): I did a fair amount of rummaging around with Google search and looked in PET and could not find this information so hoping will help show up in search results; not everyone is fortunate enough and have an Ace Hardware with a well kept nut/bolt/screw department a reasonable distance.

Metric
Diameter: 4mm
Pitch: .70
Length: 10mm
includes taper - gives a very good length through the bottom but does not protrude too far if you are not staking. maybe 1 or 2 mm protrusion and the screws I found are correctly tapered and sit perfectly level.

Will be using Loctite 290
Stainless steel
I found them in philips and allen head; I bought both styles but I think the allen head fitting is maybe a little too small to put the needed torque in if I am having to overcome loctite...even if loosened with acetone or similar...they're still tough to turn.

Question THROTTLE BODY WASHER LOCATONS?

The car is an 86 US. I disassembled the throttle body to replace the o rings at the throttle plate and have done so. The photos I took of the washers during disassembly were unusable, and I am unsure which washer goes where except the washer at the bolt.

86 throttle body - what is the correct order and location of washers

Does anybody have an answer or photos?

Thanks

Hello Pete L!

Here is a photo of the parts from the throttle body on my 86.5 US. As well, a spare 85 US I took apart looked the same.
There was no flat washer between the plastic barrels.

Good Luck!
