Question Cary/Apex/Raleigh/Durham North Carolina Loctite 574 Source?

Anybody in the Cary/Apex/Raleigh/Durham North Carolina are have a local source for Loctite 574? I am trying to get some repairs done before the weekend, so I need a local source...

Also, best local source for Yamabond/Hondabond? I don't want to drive all around to the local Yamaha/Honda dealers on a wild goose chase..

Thanks,
-Ken Rudd

call a 928 parts supplier close to you (I imagine 928 specalists is closest) they can mail it out to you 2 day or something.

or

TRY THE PHONE BOOK AND MAKE CALLS. Why the hell would someone here know where to get these things in your town? Try using the telephone, its real handy, and come to think of it, there used to be tons of business done with the telephone for the past, what 100 years before the internet came into existence

for yama, honda, kawa or suzuki-bond, try calling your local dealer, if they have it, then you know where to get it, problem solved.

Geez Ryan... no need to bit his head off.

Anyway, if you need it by this weekend, order it from McMasterCarr. They will more than likely have it there by ground shipment Friday.

sorry, just try the phone book

you said you didnt want to drive all over town for yamabond, so call, find the place that has it and then you know where to go.

I have no idea, but i dont suspect there are 1) that many 928 owners 2) that know where to get engine rebuilding supplies 3) in your town 4) that are reading this board, 5) at this time. (Sorry too many variables) so just make some calls

Ryan,

Wow.

Everybody else,

Posting my question here was just making use of one available and reliable resource.

Of course I made calls after a web and phone book search, looking at Loctite web site and Yamaha web site for local dealers. Calling the listed stores and asking the folks who answered if they have 547 or Yamabond was an exercise in random answers. Most had no idea what it is, and I'm pretty sure some just set the phone down and pretended to look, and replied a yes or no depending on their mood.

An answer from a Porsche owner would make my search more focused, and I wouldn't drive all over wasting time and gas.

Mail order is a possiblity, but I said done "before" the weekend. This is Wednesday, so delivery in time would be iffy at best.

Just hoping that somebody around here had seen some on the shelf. Yes, there are more than a few 928 owners in this area!

For the record, McMasterCarr is amazing about quick shipment. Use them all the time. I would order something right now and have it tomorrow morning by 10am, ground. They would have it to you for sure by Friday as I said. See, part of the 928 brotherhood (and sisterhood) is trust. I'm tellin' ya, man.

Glad to see a local 928 brotha has your back.
