They should have done that with the Cayman oiling issues, or is this the result of said issues.

would be cool to see how a lot of other motors fare on that torture rack, ie a vette or bmw m3, mom's station wagon, hahaha..

The first really serious testing of race engines was in the mid-sixties, with the test rig that Ford built to test the GT-40 engine/transaxle for LeMans. They ran the engines/transaxles for 24 hours on a programmed simulation - full power, shifts, inertial over-run, etc.

It did work - they beat Ferrari...

That has to be the best sounding flat six I have ever heard!!!! FANTASTIC sound! Totally hi-po!

you should hear the new GT3. doc brown had one in his shop (sometimes has several). incredible even at idle. sounds like a full out race motor even at idle, but not super loud. just kinda growls. dr p. would be proud.
