Comfort would be an automatic tranny, and normal everything including rear air and sunroof.
Sport would be 5 speed, lsd, sunroof delete, no rear air, no rear wiper, GT cams, more open exhaust, less sound deadening, wider wheels, stiffer suspension and sway bars, and options of rear seat delete, radio/ac delete and other stuff like a 911 RS america from the '90s.
Of course a dry sump design would have been nice...

These cars really do well with stiff suspension and wider rubber.

I like this idea. Bit OT but did the 81's have LSD? I think mine has it.

How about the 928MF Coupe package? Rear seat delete, exhaust mods, performance chips, short shifter, Ford Racing injectors.

What, they're my initials?

Why is it a GT?

Isn't it more of a GSC.

Alrighty! It seems we have an abundance of humorists on this board. I'm secretly an agent for Nicole and we're trying to pump up sales on the rear deck numbers and lettering from Jager (just kidding). Really.. other combinations could be 928 GTC, 928 GS, 928 TT (help me out here) as well as the obviousWTF Paul.....just leave things alone!) In any case, replies are necessary for several of the posts so:

Kevin: We all understand what you mean!
Rick: Yes, I'll be at SIH Saturday, with my secret sharkwater margaritas. I'm looking forward to seeing you again.
Sliceolator: Look at my sig..... It says '91 $$$$4
Dave: Even with it's BIG BUTT, there's not enough room for your re-badge
Andrew: BTW, See you at SIH! Two or three letters roll off the tungue better than 4 unless it spells something, like...... 928 MURF. There has to be rules, you know.
Mike: have you considered BMF? You could always say the B stands for BIG.

Oops, make that a 928 GTS FS. Don't want to get any purist panties in a wad.

Hmmm. I think that's an oxymoron.

I don't know, I like stealth mode. Let 'em wonder what the hell it is.

I had some fun a couple of weekends ago with one of my daughter's friends dad. He saw the car in the garage, and started talking up how he always wanted one.........my wife tells me to take him for a ride. Poor guy says "it sounds good, how fast is it"? He stopped talking mid sentence by 4000 rpm's in first, and looked like he was going to puke on the hard shift to 4th.

Element of surprise.........
