I believe this is PorKen's old car which he recently sold to JCB928. They are all Rennlisters here.

...not to mention the turn-it-up price.

 

Wasn't it $5k from PorKen??? Bit tacky that...but if you can get it whatever! Hope he at least put some elbow grease into it to make it as absolutely nice as possible. That is was LowMiller and Willhoit do all day long, so this just a few steps down if he did the detailing work vs. the cars those two guys sell.

 

Was the red interior original?

 

Red was an option but the dealers in the U S were afraid to order one with that interior.... they like "safe " colors Black ,Tan,gray ...etc. not likely to offend anyone !

 

It was $2700 Porken's full asking price but I am into it now for about $3700

When the Mercedes sells I will probably list it on Ebay with no reserve and take my chances. If I do make some money it will go into my Brown 85 project car.
