I have one in stainless. I think it was 2.25".

The fit was perfect.

Here is an ENZO picture before install:

Why not contact them and get the dimensions?

That's a nice-looking piece!

How much are they?

What is the estimated power increase?

Will it adversely effect fuel consumption, or be beneficial?

Obviously, I haven't followed the exhaust tuning threads much over the years.

Thanks for any insights.

I don’t think your retirement community will appreciate the noise.

Randy:

Buy one and bring it to the next GTG and we can install it. With 2+ pairs of hands it'd take 1-2 hrs to install, tops.

Turn down the hearing aids. Simple.

Nice write-up!

Did the supplier of your x-over have any dyno numbers?

Randy-

Mine was from Roger drop shipped from the guys at Motorsports in SLC. No idea on the dyno figures since I didn't have a baseline dyno (nor one post-install....) but the car feels stronger and I've seen 20-30hp claims made before on this forum (can't seem to find any dyno charts via search right now....) The SoCal folks really need to have a dyno day, I'd love to see where I am now that pretty much everything has been sorted.

Been staring at that pipe also for my new 86.5 which is silent, I like to hear to motor running. There is a chart at the bottom of this page. http://www.928motorsports.com/parts/xpipe.php

I can tell you that it is a very noticable power increase. Even more so at higher RPM's IMO.

I put on FlowMaster Super 44's and an RMB also. It really, really pulled the cork outta the exhaust bottle.

Luan go for it. If you want to go a different route, get a 2.5" universal weld-in x-pipe and have the guys at the muffler shop I told you install it with the same sized piping all the way back.

In the end, the Motorsport crossover may still be what you want. The choice is yours.

Randy,

I have a 928 Specialists X-pipe on my '91GT and run the supplied "race cats". Works great and sounds even better.

IIRC Dave used to have dyno sheets on his site that showed HP increases of approx. 20 with cats and almost 30 with the straight pipes. Torque gains were similar. YMMV.
