Yep, trying to resist that urge for the go fast parts right off. I know from my experience with the water pumpers it's best to get all the maintenance items caught up and out of the way, then start on go fast parts.

Nice, thanks.

An increase of 26 HP and 27 ftlbs is pretty impressive for a simple bolt on!

Ours are 2.5" the whole way, so was Louie's. All the dyno sheets are archived if you do a search.

Aluminized X pipe is $420
Stainless Steel is $575
Cats are $305 for the pair
Install kit $30

Best bang for the buck out there
Email me if you need dyno charts, pictures or install instructions

David,
You have mail.
Luan,
Sorry never heard back from you but it seems like you got the right set up so alls well that ends well.
Glad you bought your CV boots from Jim - he needs the business 8>)

I have been in Europe on vacation for nearly 3 weeks and slowly trying to catch up on over 2000 emails (about 1000 were telling me I needed viagra) so sorry if I am slow at the moment.

Please excuse my ignorance here.... I have an '84. What, in your opinion, would be the best bang for buck modification to my stock 928?

Stylemobile and Pcar928,
MSDS headers. I've got one with and one without. Unfortunately the one with has a head gasket issue that I haven't taken care of yet, but soon will. The difference is amazing. Downside is removing a header to get to the clutch area. Tradeoffs tradeoffs tradeoffs LOL.
Hope to see you soon Jim

I have crossovers, high flow cats (thanks Roger and Motorsports!) and the factory resonators on both '86.5's. One has the factory muffler and the other, a RMB.

Both sound great....but the one with the RMB I like a little bit more!
