I was sitting at a very busy light tonight on the way home from work and looked over and what do my wandering eyes see.

A 928 for sale
I talked to John the owner and told him I would put it on rennlist for him since he was not a member. He said it was not on Craig's list or anywhere else just in the parking lot with a sign. He put it there last night. He recently got married and moved to the area and said the car had to go. He is not the original owner. It is an 84 with over 130,000 miles Guards Red. He said he was asking $5,500. It is located in Maryland in the C-Mart shopping center at the corner of Rt40 and Joppa Farm Road. John's number is (443)690-6412. Here are the pictures I took tonight.

All kinds of gap issues and obviously a repaint considering the front spoiler. Pretty sure he won't get $5500 from anyone on this list... Though it might make a decent base for a track car... That could be worth a few bucks anyway!

We are our own worst enemy. I do not ever expect any money for my car, but everyone here talks about 928 values being low and degrades them every chance they get. I'm not mad, I'm just sayin'.

It doesn't look too bad. Maybe adjust the hood and strip the front spoiler. Hard to tell from the pics. the 5 spd is a big +. Might be a decent car with a little work.

I want a 5 speed and sunroof. Believe it or not I want rubstrips too. I think they look good.
