If only I had a 928. This shouldn't be around long I imagine! Good luck selling it. I love the list of cars you have, someone loves BOOST!

good question.
forgot the rmb is for '87 and up.
the x -pipe works with the later dual exhaust though i think may mate up with earlier exhaust manifolds, not really sure on that.

Tom,
I'll take the stainless RMB. Do you want a check, PayPal, etc???
Are you coming this way in the forseeable future? Otherwise what's shipping charge (19382)?

Cheers,

Gary

Do you need anything for trade on that x, Tom? Has it sold yet would be a better question!

FYI - from what I've gathered here the X-pipe will only work on a 16v car if you "upgrade" to later (32v) exhaust manifolds. Plus, for an early single-exhaust car you'd obviously have to do a dual exhaust for it. I haven't found (on this site) anyone who's done this for a USA 16v car, although I think one of the more experienced guys (Ketchmi?) said there wasn't all that much benefit found in tests on an early car to do this. It would certainly sound different (better?) than a stock setup though...

I have an 82 that I put an 87 exhaust downpipes and cats on using the original manifolds. I have the updated manifolds to put on since I understood that it was required and will "eventually" do that, but it fit fine with the old cast iron manifolds.

There is apparently an offset in the later pipes that won't generally fit on the older cars without a spacer, but for some reason it was no problem on mine. So there is a chance it will fit. It's not too hard to do a test fit and see.

For what it's worth.

actually i have a complete 86.5 tailpipe setup also. So theoretically you could upgrade your early car to whatever you want with these components
