Default WTB 5mm-7mm wheel spacers

I need a pair of 5mm to 7mm spacers for the rear wheels on the S4. I have an inside tire rubbing issue and have replaced one tire and want to eliminate this for the future owner.

I'm looking for a pair of small spacers for cheap.

Anyone have any? Please PM me with a price

Thanks

All the cheap small spacers of that size I have seen are NOT hub centric and should not be used on 928's (or probably any other car for that matter...) the lug studs are not designed or meant to support the wheel and the weight of the car...the HUB is for that...the studs and lugs are just to hold the wheel TO the hub. Buyer beware.

The issue lies with the 18" wheels on the S4. They are 18 x 11 with a 45mm offset. So i need to find some way ease the rubbing issue. I may try removing some of the undercoating in the wheel well and they respraying it but i would rather just find a small 5mm spacer.

And this other set:

how much room do you have at the fender to tire ?? you might get away with a set of bolt on spacers and then rolling the fender edges

not much room honestly. The drivers side is rubbing to the point that it destroyed the inner sidewall. If i go with a 5mm spacer that should eliminate the problem. And yeah i can roll the inside lip of the exterior fender too.

No probs Ryan,

I'm surprised yours don't fit without spacers? I've keeping my eye out for some of the C4S Carrerra III's at the moment that are 18x11 et51 rears, and was planning on 5mm spacers myself.

What size rubber are you running at the rear?

"Wheels are OE take off 997 Carrera 4S wheels with ideal offsets for the rear which require no spacer for excellent fit. "

Your ad says they fit with no spacers. Try no spacers for a while and see how it goes.

This is for the S4!

The wheels on the S4 are 18 x 11 with 45mm offsets. See the previous posts in this thread genius.

Hilton,

The GT has 19 x 11 with 51mm with 285/30 tires and fit with no issues on the GT.

The S4 is the problem car

Sean,

You BEEN OUTSIDE TODAY??? I would BURST into flames if I were out in the race car! The time to be on track in Texas is between mid Oct and early May. Other than that you should stay away from race track in Cen TX!

I need to get the race car out more there is no doubt about that. Need to figure out why the electric fan is not kicking on when the car gets hot though! As long as I am moving I am fine, but in the paddock is NOT GOOD!

remember when the wheels compress in the rear they pivot slightly inwards so rolling the fenders and adding some wider spacers might be the trick, otherwise you could fit a slightly narrower tire

Electronic switch. Mount on dash, forever no heat. Just worry about dead batteries. But you'd never do that.

Or, get a Euro motor in that beast installed by.....hmmm....hell I don't know.
