Red 928 is running YES!
Last night we fired up my dads 85 928S after a 1 year 2 months being down for a full engine service. We had the intake and valve covers powder coated, replaced all seals, belts, water pump, tensioner, power steering pump, AC compressor, and vacuum lines. If it wasn’t for this forum I would not have been able to do this. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone helping us out in getting this car running, and I’m sure she thanks you too. She isn’t a garage queen but she will be a great runner! We still have things to work out but for the most part it ran yesterday which was satisfaction enough and a big milestone in this project.

Congratulations! Nothing better than a father and son to do together.
And (you know I'm gonna say it) this post is useless without pics. :toorder:

Andrew,
I might do that one of these days. Thanks
The engine isn't ready for pictures yet, we still have a lot of sorting and organizing to do under there especially with the spark plug wires. Below are some pictures of the red car that we took a few weeks back messing around outside my house. Not bad for 145k on the clock. She still needs some cosmetics but will worry about that later..
