Raleigh area GTG, any interest?

Nice and dry this morning.
While I was under there, I took the heat shield off, wire brushed it and painted it with hi-temp caliper paint, then replaced the missing hardware.
Looks great, thanks again!

Lee,
I also flipped over my license plate holder, per your setup. It hides the tow hole and does look better ( plus that extra .1MPH & .001 MPG).
Of course, now I'll need to pull the tag if I ever need to use the tow eye back there. And it will be pitch black. In the pouring rain.....

WOW too bad I didn't see this thread a few days ago, I was down in Raleigh this Saturday. I was even driving the shark, it would have been cool to meet up. Let me know next time there is a GTG, I'm only about and hour and 15 minutes away.

Not sure why I'm obsessed w/ those tow eye points..... Maybe it’s because I broke this thing before and we could not get that f.ing front tow eye piece out!
Had a great time and hope we do this again, hopefully soon!
David, your place is wonderful and thanks for the hospitality!

I just saw this thread and figured I would say hi. I know this is a 928 area, but didnt figur you guys would mind. I just got my 944 last week and I'll be ripping the engine out soon for a rebuild over the winter. I'll be tracking it after that. I'd love to come to the next one even if the car can't. I live in Princeton which is near Goldsboro and I can host whenever. I haven't read the whole thread, but does anyone else here race AutoX, HPDE, etc? Too bad I got here just a little too late.
