Another red flag the #3 Mitsubishi in Carls group went into a wall . Damn between this and ALMS at Mid Ohio its a racing morning.
Now they are saying it was a car from the time attack, not Carls group.

They just announced a red flag for car # 928 sounds like Carl went off road but they said he would still race.
This is a wild race Robert Lopez in Carls group just finished saying he blew 3 tires and finished.
There has been a bad crash a car in Carls group went into a tree there was a spectator reported in the tree the car crashed right below him. This was reported by a driver having just finishing the run.

Listening to KRDO.com the race is on a Red Flag hold the accident was
Nathan & Brandye Conley, - Pikes Peak Open devision car "Carl's Class" car # 116 Subaru WRX Wagon. Report on the radio is the car left the road and sheared off a 40 foot pine tree, both are ok with no life threating injuries. Being transported by air to be checked out.
Carl's class has some finished on the summit, the times are below

CRAP! I guess that proves it take skill, preparation, hard work and a fair bit of luck just to finish this race. It just shows how amazing it really was that he finished and placed last year on his first try.

They life flighted the lady driving the 116 car that hit the tree. Broken back. And another one that was on a cycle is getting flew out too.
