I live on a cul-de-sac. Have parking for a few in the drive and about 20 or so around the corner and across the street but not sure if I can accommodate that many for food and drink. Lets get a tally on who is joining us for the after dyno event and make a decision.

Well, we can always make it byob, Anthony. There's no reason you should get stuck with such a large bill, I agree.
I've got NOOO problem byob'ing at all.

In the unlikely event i get my car finished on time, would a lowly 4 cylinder be allowed to participate?
I have a feeling the only thing going to hold me up is a potentially back ordered 3bar fuel pressure regulator.

Thats not the problem, my house is well stocked. I just think it would be most comfortable with 15 people or less, I have only enough outdoor furniture to accommodate that many, although we can always bring out some folding chairs. I just had a party for my son with 45 people in the basement and it overloaded the A/C with this heat wave. If we have more people I can always do it inside, assuming it was not like Sat or Sunday.

How have you been? We missed you at the AX events. I don't think it should be a problem assuming how many we already have. I would see what Leslie and Mike say first.

Hi Leslie, Anthony and Jon,
Leslie, as far as I know we have 7 right now (JHowell37 is coming up from MD but I don't think he's responded here, just by PM). I doubt an 8th car will set us back much. Just don't make my car look bad, OK Jon (maybe if it's running strong you could pull a plug wire and run on 3 just to keep your numbers under mine? ).
For the GTG, I haven't posted anything but the Cubby's gtgs usually bring more than 15, so we should find out ahead of time before we overrun Anthony's place. I appreciate the offer Anthony.
How about this: We can plan on going to Cubby's afterward and I'll start a GTG thread and cross post it over on the other watercooler forum, and we'll ask everyone to meet at the shop where we're doing the dyno by like 2:00pm. Then whenever we're done there, Anthony can look around and make the call. If there is a large crowd we can go to Cubby's, or if it's under a dozen or so of us, we can go over to Anthony's?

I doubt my car will come close to some of yours, it is only half your engine after all .
My car is in a running state but not something id want to dyno right now due to a crappy tune. I have a MAF setup in the mail which should be here on wednesday, the problem is the 3.0 Bar FPR may not make it in time.
Anthony, ive been laying low with the auto-x events. I skipped my first one voluntarily ever on saturday because it was so darn hot out. I figured crappy tune + 100 degrees out will probably lead to a blown head gasket. Then i wont even need to pull a plug wire to run on 3 cylinders .
Anywho, there were a few guys on the Pelican forum interested in a get together at Cubby's again. I cross posted there that we may end up there after the dyno..

Hey everyone....just a few more days to go! Praying it doesn't rain too bad so we can still do this.
So listen, I just want to clarify something....while Kevin has agreed to watch the dyno guys and to help decide where to strap the cars down, he wants it to be clear that he is in NO WAY assuming any liability for it.
Each owner will ultimately have to make their own decision about whether and how to tie down their car, with his input and advice, if they so desire. And with respect to cars other than 928s, he's again willing to look and help out, but he reminds you guys that he has no experience with your models.
What he will do is be sure that the dyno guys don't repeat the things that they did to us in the past that are known to cause damage. Other than that...well, it's a risk that must be assumed by anyone who is going to dyno their car anywhere.
Agreed?
EDIT: I've just now received the final confirmation call from TT for this event. Since there are supposed scattered thunderstorms on Saturday, if it's really really pouring out, we can't go forward. TT says it's not a good idea to put soaking wet, dripping cars on the machine, for safety reasons.
I have Billy's cell phone number. If it turns out to be a really bad day, I'm supposed to call him by 8:00 that morning to cancel. So everyone should check in here very early that morning before leaving home to be sure everyhting is still a go!
