Quick update following a day of testing at the Nurburgring on Sunday. Did 16 laps at full throttle and the good news is that the Dry Sump seems to be working. Corners, which in the past would have caused fluctuations in the oil pressure, did not pose any problems. Gone are the 5-to-3.5-back-to-4-then-to-5bar fluctuations. Instead I got steady oil pressure throughout each lap.

Also, I did a total of 1000 miles driving over 2 days and the oil dropped 2mm on the dipstick in the tank. On the return trip I covered 300miles in 3 hours, thus I was not holding back even on the road. Also bear in mind, that the conventional breathing system is still plugged in the intake whilst I await the end caps from Porsche.

Overall, I am quite happy with the achievement...

What about fuel lines passing thru the passenger cabin?
I just picked up a car where they did this - they're braided SS, but I'm still not wild about it.
Thinking about trying to re-route them.

Dunno about your regs - I have both lines run in the cabin for about 60cm and my regs allow me to do this, provided both lines are braided SS...

Picking up the car tomorrow. The GTS-based race lump is in and apparently has coughed into life Hopefully the car will still be on the ramps, thus I would take pictures...

I will split the old GT lump after the weekend, as I have a race on Sunday, which involved another 2 928s - a factory GTS-based racer and a S4 5spd with the Euro 2.64 diff... Should be fun. Wish me luck...
