Default Cabin Temp sensor fan motor

Ive had all my dash out and tried to test it by putting 12volts on it, it does not turn, is there a proper procedure to test it. Part number is 928 624 113 01 Im told, its made by Bosch

It needs power (red wire) and ground (brown wire) if it does not spin , it is dead. I have one on the shelf new...

Make sure it is clean. It can get clogged with lint and not turn because of that.
