Specifically for the instrument pod. I tried to search on the topic, but didn't find to much info. Especially for an '83. Be advised, my electronic inexpierience/ignorance is quite high. My questions are;
1) Is there a way to test it? I assume you can only check for continuity, but continuity to what (and where)? Are you going directly off the wiring diagrams in the WSM's?
2) Say you find a bad circuit. Is the whole thing shot, is it repairable?
3) I hear a lot of people say replacing it can solve alot of problems. PCB's for the OB's are no longer available. How would one go about replacing it? I would have to assume a used one would be a 50/50 shot of working better than the one you have.
4) Is it really worth messing with at all?
I'm not having huge issues right now, just some annoying glitches. However I am getting ready to R&R the pod, and was curious what to look for and expect. Thanks in advance for any information/opinions on the matter.

Dwayne just did a great write up on this. I bought a NOS foil, and everything works perfectly now, except my SPEEDO.![banghead](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/banghead.gif)
If this write up isn't in the DIY's, it should be. Dwayne does good work.
