You realize ebay has a new policy that prohibits the seller from leaving bad feedback on you, even if you leave neg on a seller. This may level the field somewhat.

Yes they were there. I actually bought some stuff from him on the spot and later and had a good experience. My only complaint was a little slow in shipping but I got such a good deal I really didn't mind all that much.

In fact, somebody ended "taking by accident" one of his trannies that he bought during that weekend but remained pretty civil about. Good luck!

Thanks everyone for your responses.

I just called Trevor on his cell # (thanks checkmate) and left a message to call me to straighten this out.

I'll let you know how this turns out.

Yes. I don't know when it started, but I just bought something and in the feedback window, it is was announced at the top of the screen. I was the buyer and left postive; I can't verify what the seller sees.

Yes, as of May 19th Ebay changed the feedback rules. Sellers can only leave a positive or not leave anything. Here is the new rules:
Sellers may only leave positive feedback for buyers
We will remove negative and neutral Feedback if a member becomes suspended
Members can leave Feedback up to 60 days after a transaction (down from 90)
We will remove Feedback when a buyer fails to respond to the unpaid item process.
Members will receive credit for weekly repeat Feedback (going back to 1996)
We will base the Positive Feedback Percentage on the past 12 months of activity (and include neutral Feedback in the calculation)
The PowerSeller Program will use the same calculation method described above to determine eligibility for the PS Program for the Positive Feedback percentage requirement of 98% positive.
It's True........

Update:

Trevor sent a refund last night. Anyone have a good, used air filter housing for an '86.5?

Thanks,
Adam

This is actually an acquaintance of mine. It is where all my used parts come from. The guys name is Trevor. He has about 20 P-cars he parts he also does a lot of work for locals. He is a good guy. Ill drop him and email. What exactly do you want done? Would you at this point like a refund or the right part?

Also i know he is having some non life threatening medical issues. But they are mobility issues.

This is where my extra motor and tranny came from.

Yes, Leave feedback, but knowing his medical issues is more than your normal ebayer will know... my 2 cents is "BE KIND" with the feedback.....we all may have a medical issue which can put us out from a few days to weeks. If his feedback is good up till your experience then I would think this was a Murphy's law and let him slide. I'm not saying a scammer shouldn't be slammed, but in this case he seems to be straight up person. Ok I'm off the soapbox......next????

Adam,

I've got a good airbox bottom and straps, but the top is beat to hell, so you'll still need the top from someone. You can check it out this weekend. When are you coming down btw?

Just went through a similar experience with DPS Motorsports on eBay.

Won a 930S steering wheel on April 7. First one delivered on May 9 (1 month delivery time?) was damaged and 1/2-assed packaged in hi-mileage box with minimal packing material (newspapers wadded up).

Second one was wrong wheel, but at least was in a factory package from Porsche.

Finally got a refund yesterday (6-19).

Two months to complete the transaction with no satisfactory product delivery.

Horrible customer service and I was lied to several times.

File the complaint and leave negative feedback, that is what I had to do to get their attention.
