Default Weissach(?) in Ventura

No affiliation, I just know there are fans here:

Looks like a real project though...

Yikes - would you buy a car from someone who used purple fuzzy seatcovers on a car with a legendary limited-edition interior?

My theory is that they don't know it's a Weissach.

But no, I wouldn't buy it.

wow its even got a the rare carpeted dash!

Seriously, is a Weissach in crap condition worth more then any other 928 in crap condition? I get that a nice one like the one I saw Roger pick up is worth more then your average 83 model. But why would a junk Weissach be worth more then a regular junk 83?

Am I missing something? What makes you guys think this is a Weissach? Looks like just a gold car with brown interior.

I'm no Weissach expert, but so far any gold '82 I've seen has turned out to be one. Was gold an option for non-Weissachs? I did include a (?) in the title, so I left myself some wiggle room there...

I'm pretty sure gold was a standard color for several early MY's. I have personally known of at least 3 that were not Weissach.

i own a gold 82, it's not a Weissach, gold was just a standard color - i think the interior was all that set the Weissach apart, although i've never been overly compelled to put them above any other standard issue OB...personally, i'd rather have a nice euro than a nice Weissach, more bang for the buck -
