such a texas thing!
I'm staying up way too late in Virginia, thinking of my Euro tucked away in Massachusetts, with a battery still connected and probably well-neigh dead.

Now that is something to start a new thread about.... Anyone in that area have a battery tender? Save a shark?

Thanks. I did a search and found a good thread on the early euros.

That's ok. I sent the guy an email to see if he has any pics. Its in the next town over. Might be fun just to go see it. Although, if I get old boy fever, that might screw up my dirt bike plans.

Thanks! But it's just the battery...the heart will beat on after a quick application of a suitable shock device
Wow, I guess finally being at a point where I can have confidence in that fact is saying something, it's been a long road!

Default Friday night...

The wife's out of town, so I am prepping the 928 for a car meet and greet in Irvine, CA early in the morning Saturday.

I don't know what to expect, but I've heard this meet and greet is a good mix of cars....

Well they aren't much but I'm just too mellowed out at the moment to resize pics....

Here are the before and after's of the center caps. Note that I left one area unpainted in the picture. I used Testors Clear red which matched perfectly.

Sean I think you need to post some pics of your two sharks, sounds liked you're putting some serious time in and I have to imagine they're looking really really good.

Al--

If you are headed to C&C at Mazda/Ford/etc in Irvine, plan a pre-dawn launch from Carlsbad. Lot is full before 7am, empties by 9-9:30. Bring your camera and a towel to catch the drool. Lots of very interestin old and not-so-old eye candy there. Always a few 'didin't know there were any of those left!' examples too. You'll have a ball.

The eastern SFV crew is gathering in City of Industry for a monthly PCA meet-greet-yak session. Gotta go dust the beast soon. Otherwise, all is calm on the western front.

Bob, have you been able to meet up with Ed Hughes as of yet? He's the guy that used to own a pristine 91 928, but only has a lawn mower now. He used to come here..........then he moved.

Dang, I suppose you wouldn't get to know him, he seemed like a nice guy.

*here starts the bashing of others

Sorry, can't resist. He's sent us plenty of pics of that gathering, I'm so envious.

I like dirt bikes... I like crotch rockets more though. Broke my back racing dirt bikes! So, be careful on them! They are fun but lots of people get hurt on them, thankfully most of the time it is a dislocated shoulder or wrenched knee.

Don't go see the shark unless you plan on buying it!

LOL!

Just back home from the first day of Sharks at Lake Tahoe. I only live 30 miles from the host location so no need to get a room. Getting up in the a.m. for the fun drive. Tim and Cheryl have planned out a nice 130 mile loop with a lunch break midway. Perfect weather and the pine trees aren't dumping pollen on the cars this year.

Well since I'm a "Honorary Lifetime Member of The DFW Shark School", I'm posting! Thanks for starting a new thread Sean, I miss the old one....

Today is my B-day, so I watched the start of LeMans, and then took my now usual weekend drive out in the country. This is about 10 minutes from my house.

I then went to checkout the local Harbor Freight (bought myself the odds and ends I couldn't live without as presents), and then came home to clean Ruby up. She makes her Orange County debut later today, as we're going to a party up there, and Deb said she'd ride in the 911 since it's my B-day. Of course, this trip will include a trip up PCH thru Laguna Beach as Ruby makes her coastal debut!
