Rookie Mistake
I had 6 and 7 crossed on the distributor. I also checked my pile o parts and found on my old radiator the sticker for the firing order and the numbering system. Finally realized I went the wrong way on 6 & 7.
The good news is I got to clean out the galley in the intake area, replaced the hoses with silicone in red, polished the old bands, reassembled and went for a blistering ride.

Im looking at buying an 86 928 that owner said was running really rough and with some difficulty starting, sprayed some starting fluid into intake that exploded through air intake and blew out the air filter box, ect. It hasnt been started since but what can happen to engine when this happens?? Selling as-is for 2K with perfect interior and 56K. Thoughts?
