Top of the line 928 diecast's
Is anyone familiar with these diecast's,

They look nice, but that seem awfully high to me.

Yup, I won the bid on a set like this a year or two ago. Wasn't as high priced as these, but I got lucky and was the only bidder.
They are an impressive set, compared to most other diecasts of our cars.
These were a limited edition and you don't see them to often. I don't know how much they cost originally from the Porsche dealers. I doubt they were cheap though.
How much are they worth now? Well... whatever a collector is willing to pay!

Those were commissioned by Porsche to commemorate the Front Engined Water Cooled series. I bought a set from Porsche and they are in nice detail, except for the 928 of course. Since in 1990 a 5sp is a GT not an S4, and it has S4 wheels instead of the Design 90's, of course I fixed mine by taking the CS wheels off the 944 S2 and putting them on the 928GT.

But... now does the 944 S2 have S4 wheels?

I have this model of the 914. Limited edition number 1564 of 3500. Very detailed and great quality. I am however confused as to why they decided to chrome the entire exterior ...
