Murano Green
It may be a little late to ask but does anyone know this car? It's an 89 S4 and the only Murano Green I've seen although a search here showed one on eBay back in June of 07. I wonder if it was the same one. I bought this one Saturday on eBay while at SITM. Now I've just got to figure out how to get it home from Connecticut.
Here's the link. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...268080822&rd=1

Nice catch Mike! Unique & interesting green color, the tan interior makes it work. Darn, like there wasn't enough to keep you busy while at SITM, you're scorin new sharks for your stable! Course, maybe you knew that at least 100 or so potential competing buyers would be busy at SITM eh??

yeah i loved that color and considered bidding on it for the color alone.
I honestly thought it was some non factory color. As in it was painted by someone else in that color. But i love the color. It reminds me of the Turquoise that was on 993's that made the car look amazing!
Was this a factory paint job, if so i am bummed i didnt bid. I LOVE IT

Looks nice and not a bad price at all. I don't know the owner, but maybe David Lloyd might.
If it is registered I would pick it up and keep it here for you

Thanks to all. I thought I might hear some negative comments about the color because it's one of those that you either love or hate. I love it and more importantly, so does my wife.
I'd love to know who it was. Hopefully a Rennlist regular that will see this and reply.
The seller claims it's original and the color was a standard option in 89 and 90 only. I Googled "Murano Green Porsche" and found a few links that all showed pictures of this particular car.
I'll get in touch with David and see what he knows. And thanks for your generous offer, you're too kind.

Yes, I wanted to bid on it the first time it was on Ebay a year ago. Gonna be tough to fix the damage and not have it visible. However, I still think this is a beauty and wish it was mine. Probably the only one like it in the US.
Good luck!
