Anybody else get a ticket during the SITM event
We were really moving got through NC Tenn Almost out of Kentucky coming up on a small crest in the road Sheriff was standing on the inside berm out of his car doing laser. Just as we crested V 1 Started SCREAMING to late. 92 in a 70 he knocked down to just 10 over. If he only knew we were crusing at about 130 in NC coming out of the mountains.

The Texas posse has been good . . . well at least ticket less so far. We still have another day to go to get baqck. Had some good stints on Tenn. at 120+, some of those high speed twisties are just to hard to resist.

I've been seeing cruisers all over the place.
Saw cruisers going in opposite direction on that twisty 194 road to Dave and Jeannie.
Then merging back onto highway after Virginia Welcome center, cruiser merges onto highway just
as I was getting up to speed. Lucky it was still light enough for me to recognize the police Crown Vic.
Then a police cruiser passes the gas station as I'm leaving tonight.
Will they send Get Out of Ticket along with the Fed Rebate Checks.

I think we would have gotten a ticket for too slow heading to Dave & Jeannie's place yesterday morning. I was following Roger and Jim and we got stuck behind some Nissan who must have thought the speed limit was some kind of goal....took Roger an awful long time to pass, must have been that automatic....

I headed out really early Sunday to get back to VA (and do farm chores), and the first vehicle I saw on the Parkway was a white pickup driven by a blonde... The Boston crew remembers her I'll bet

Here we see the Boston group's fearless leader recieving some type of prize from a government representitive. I believe it was in recognition of his effort to keep the BRP free of troublesome slow-moving traffic.
