Default Watch that firing order!

Just fired up my S4 again after belt re-tension.

Sounded rough and engine was rocking side to side.

First thought was plug order on the RHS distributor which should be 4-6-7-1 as you face the car (I'd removed leads at the cap).

Well the 1 on the plug lead can be confused with a 7, and the 7 looks a bit like a 1...

Running nice and smooth now.

make sure to inspect both of the coil wires to the caps and coils they have a habit of sliding out of the cap/coil and will start a corrosion problem
