If anyone else is looking for a Dual Disc setup let me know. I am debating on wether to install it in a car that I want to sell

What he said ^^^, we used bent nails instead of wire but same effect. We didn't need to move the trans/TT but the dowel pins do need to be pushed back into the PP, there are only 1 or 2 spare mm's. Leave 1mm or so sticking out so you can feel when things are lined up, then gently tap the pins towards the FW.

Don't move the transmission, it's just a big waste of time. Shim the PP like others have said and it will go in easy. You could even use the right size nailgun nails as shims.
