Doing some stocktaking and want to rave about superior customer service way beyond expectations. I am in the process of completing a "mild restoration" of my 928 back to near factory (sticking my neck out...), and depend on my local dealer as well as lots of small businesses around for parts and car-care.

Well, Joanne at Colorplus has repeatedly sent orders to me before I even have time to pay! I think this is really excellent in such days, shipping from States to a customer met via e-mail in the Persian Gulf!

Second is Jeff at Odometer Gears. He provided me with odometer replacement gear. However he could not provide a gear with the required 29 teeth but rather a 30. So I did some mileage-checks and it turned out it counts a bit wrong. I told Jeff it's ok but counts slightly wrong - and what does he do if not go and manufacture a once-off 29-tooth gear, just for me?! Then proceeds to ship it to me for free?! This is what I call customer championing!

Oh, and 928intl has never let me down either - good e-mail correspondance, with goods on time!

I fully agree with Joanne's service (and product) at ColorPlus. Always prompt service, and the one time the product was slightly off color, she went to great lengths to "get it right".
Their leather dye and Soffener is the best I've found.
