Ok, has anyone travled east bound on I-40 lately (Kingman to Albuquerque? Any road work (i.e., single lane traffic)?

This will be rocket's first road trip since I picked her up from the PO in San Diego almost 4 years ago. I just tuned her and the wifes car up for the 700 mile drive.

It's going to be rough not having Tony and Bill close by, but Tony assures me that he's just a phone call away

More to come as we start this adventure!
Will you be at SITM? I look forward to seeing you again.

Hi Rick,

Unfortunately not, we'll be looking at homes all next week/weekend.

There's always next year!

We're currently in Flagstaff, got late start today. Rocket is loving the open road...we chose the straightest route (I-40) all the way to Albuquerque then down I-25

Not sure if we'll make it all the way to Tularosa, NM tonight, so we might stay in Albuguerque.

Later..

We made it safely to Tularosa, NM earlier...We'll stay with our NM family until we find our next domain.

Rocket ran beautiful and maintained @20 mpg! The AC belt gave way approx 100 miles to our destination, but overall a nice it was a nice trip!

I know this is an old thread, but I just had to respond because I'm from Alamogordo and visit there often. Grandparents live up in High Rolls, near Cloud Croft. It'd be nice to meet you next time I'm home.
