Did notice on closer inspection that the heads were shipped to DEVEK so much money WAS spent on the heads , obviously the exhaust as well. They easily could have changed camshafts BUT I doubt it is a stroker based on the stock updated con rods.

So you buy it and don't like it or need to sell it in a hurry. Well discount it $5,000 (?) and sell it. So it's not a $35,000 risk, only a $5,000 risk. Have I convinced you? (Not my money though...) :-). Wish I were in your 'predicament'.
If it has issues with the mileage stated and issues are apparent selling it might be tough since the GTS crowd is not an easy one. You might find you take a $10k hit trying to unload it. Or need to repair a costly issue before unloading it at a loss. Although if it checks out he should be fine with no worries.

170KM = 106K Miles...that aside, Anyone who buys a car to make money usually has a fool for a client...( that has been me on occasion so I should know)...I'm going to hold on to her if I buy her...but if for some reason I can't/don't want to, I'm sure she'll find another fool.....

So assume its a stock 5.4 with some head. What all that entails i have no idea, nor will you ever most likely.

I think the bottom line price for a 5 speed GTS of any mileage has got to be $30K. This one has a fresh engine ( A BENEFIT) and some pretty nice looking headers. Needs a new airbag wheel and probably needs a few things here and there to make it all work. Those "things" could run another 3K or more but the price isnt that far off. I like the wheels on the car just with you could get a completely accurate story. A 5.4L with just head work and MAYBE cams wouldnt put out 420 HP. So i would take that claim with a grain of salt. Most GTS's put out less HP then GT's so I imagine its in the 350 range (pretty much stock) Probably sounds really nice though!

Sorry, hard to read the fine print didn't see it being KM. I have never lost money on any of my Porsche's actually made money on all but broke even on one. Although I might have to keep the Cayenne for 30 years to maintain my record. LOL. A GTS is a good choice, the market is fickle but odds are good it will at least hold its value. I never buy my cars as investments either but it is nice to know they at a min hold their value.

There have been a few high mileage 5 speed GTS's with issues sell in the $25k range then again I have also seen 95k mile 5 speeds needing work and bad repaints sell for high $40's so who knows what the market will do.

That is if I were ever to sell it, I wouldn't let her go for anything less than... (note to self: be careful what you say on an open forum )

Cobalt, as $US is so low compared to euro you better be careful or there is one less 5sp GTS in your country.

Offer him $30k. If he wants to sell it, that will be a hard offer to refuse.

Exhaust system looks awesome and I bet it sounds good too.

Car's cosmetics look good as well, and the wheels are very nice.

Offer as it stands is 34.6 w/ all maint completed and 3 months of storage
also includes the TB adjustment when I drop it off to be shipped to Paul for sports seat update (you there Paul??)
Anything going on shark wise in Aug. in either Ontario or the N.E.....need a reason to log a couple of K's worth of travel (huge lie, will probably drive to other peoples homes just to use bathroom, good excuse to log miles!)
