I have some wheels and tires that I bought in 2003. The wheels were painted and the tires put back on. They were slightly worn THEN, and have sat in my garage(s) since then... uh, waiting. Time does indeed fly. I will have to wear them out on track then.

I guess we'll see. Inside, climate controlled, all that, but time is time.

Good luck with that. A few years ago I tried out a set of OLD R-compounds during an autox practice and removed them after the first run. Using the street tires would have been faster Might as well have been on an ice rink...

Yo dawgs! Motorcycle and ATV tires are coming out in colors now.

Get your bad self down with that.

One thing about dirt bike tires is you never have to worry about them ageing, its more a question of how many rides can you nurse out of them before you're stuck on some uphill switchback with knobbies that are not so knobblie anymore and you're cursing yourself for trying to get one more ride out of them.

How about the 21-year-old spare tire that's taking up subwoofer room in my hatch area?

My spare got me home last year. Worked like a charm after 20 years!

Damn, I was looking for a good excuse to get it out of there.
