Default A few pictures from The Mitty

We took the 928 to Gainesville, Ga for The Mitty at Road Atlanta this past weekend. Lots of cars and lots of racing. We got to do about 5 parade laps around the track, but it was raining at that time. Only saw two other 928's there; one that we parked next to. The Countach caused a stir when it showed up.

Countach may have caused a stir, but that's a pic of a Diablo.
(or a facsimile thereof, what's up with the windows and body kit?)

Yea, was going to say the same thing, that pic is not a Countach, and may not even be a Diablo...

I can't believe I missed it, but I was out of town visiting my mother and brother. Next year I'll be there. BTW unless that's a very good kit, it's a Diablo SV that someone has some serious $$$$ in playing with. The SV's had that rear cover with the roof scoops, but they never had centerlocks, lexan windows or a rear extractor like that...the GTR did, but it's not a GTR.

Oh well, when you've seen one Lambo, you've seen them all

It was a real Diablo SVR, competition version built by the factory.

That's my linen S4 in some of those photos, sometime Sunday afternoon, a CGT showed up and parked next to me.

I have a few photos here:

Great pictures!!! I see some cars I missed. The lone BMW, the red #3 '318 is' is a buddy of mine from Alcoa, Tn. Goes to show you how trying to build a weekend autocross car can get away from you.
That's my Kiln Red 928 next to you. We said 'hey' but that was about it. I was extremely stressed due to a self induced mechanical problem w/the car. Got it fixed that night.
