Hopefully one with a blower or a stroker. It'd be great to run a 928 with 500rwhp.
Sterling is in the big D. As are several others. Maybe some with Blowers. Sterling's is technically a stroker, but there is more there than meets the eye.

honestly, the 928 is going to need 650-700whp.

and you guys call these sharks? I laughed when I called a junk yard to finda TB from an '86 928. the lady who answered said, "Oh yeah, I know what car you're talkin about. it looks like a TURTLE right!!"
I think I blew soda out my nose.

speaking from somone who actually has expeirence with 700hp no they wouldn't. A 700rwhp 928 would destory any 951. St's would be the only thing close and only reason he'd be is because of weight. The powerbands would be advantage 928 easily.

becareful what you say.

Correction, try 3572lbs for the 997TT:

And the 997TT cab is 3726lbs

Lets keep this on track. There is plenty to say derogatory about your audi. While 650 or 700 has already been accomplished, why would you say that? Because of the 400 extra pounds?

Stroker, 968 valves, 968 variocam, Sharktuner (I think), unless he is still on the motec. Shorter rear ratio 5spd. I think it should be at least 520 at the crank, but he has the calcs.

What are you talking about? A 650+ Horsepower 928 would be more than powerful enough to beat a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 if the rear end could be kept in check the whole time. Care to revise your post so it can make sense?

That's just ridiculous. Why would you just pull such numbers out of yer a**? Sterling needs to give your car a spanking .

I wonder why there aren't any 951's on the Speed Channel trying to get close to Mark A. and he only has ~500whp...

Please! You're comparing your car that has 800lbs gutted to a stock weight 928?? You should be comparing it to Mark A.'s 2600lbs 500whp racer.
