Gauge fix - probably redundant, but...
This may be reinventing the wheel, but here goes - no charge.
I had non-functioning temperature and fuel gauges and couldn't find any reason - they previously worked fine. No bad fuses, (althought other gauges worked, I thought it was worth a try), the pod connector seemed well seated, ?????
I took the left pod connector off and with a "T-pin", I very gently raised all of the tiny little connectors inside the female side and then gave it a shot of CorrosionX and put it back together and .... IT WORKED GREAT!!!!
I guess I was due, since I ran over something (I didn't see what it was) at about 80 (close to the speed limit) at about 11:00 last night and it bent both rims on the driver side. No blowout, but very noticable bend in the rim lips. I think I can fix one of them, but the other will need to be done professionally -$140.00 each.. I was just lucky it didn't blow both tires on that side.
Well, it turned out to be a good day today, hope for another one tomorrow.
