Default Performance chips....Always in pair ????

I had to remove both the LH and EZK from my car last saturday. So I decided to take a look at the chips to see if there were original or else. I found one SuperChips in the EZK (ignition module) both none in the LH module (it still have the original one number # 2 287 355 447).

I always believe that the chips were coming in pair for the Porsche 928

The car runs great as is so …

The number found on the chip:

Chips that were mapped for manual cars suffer from low idle when used in auto cars due to a lack of idle control when the car is in gear but stationary.

Perhaps the PO recognised the issue and re-installed the OEM LH chip.............thats what I did. I have GT mapped chips.

Malcolm,

Any HP gain with that configuration? Superchips claim 10 HP.

Is it possible that you received 25 cm of snow today? 20C in Montreal today

hi Luc.......The GT mapped EZK chip certainly changed the power to a higher rpm range and 'seat of the pants' hp gain. I assume that this map was used to take advantage of the GT cams.

Yes we got dumped on again; snow in April must be Spring in Canada.

Bon chance avec Les Habs!
