In Issaquah May 11 is the pacific northwest XXX porsche car show. I will be there and I hope all the PacNW 928er's will be there as well. In the meantime how does April 16 at Redhook Woodinville sound? Mark

I think this is the same event, however it is showing different dates.
has something changed, or is this still on.
If it is a week today (the 19th), then I will be attending.

Has anyone been to this show? Its a 3 hour drive for me and I'd probably head up the night before so I can wake up and just drive over. Are there a lot of P cars that show? What has been the 928 count? Maybe I can rustle up some of these guys south of the river here in Oregon. Is it a show and shine? Do you have to register?
Thanks

I was there a few years back. Very informal gathering of Porsche owners. We had I think 5 or so 928's and they (PCA - PNWR) also held an informal concours event with scoring etc. Weather when I was there was so-so..I think we only had like 20 or so Porsches including our 5 928s so not a huge turnout, but if the weather ends up being nice, the XXX is really close to Bellevue..the home of most of the newer Porsches. Cool place..nice event...good food..not sure if I can make it but will put it on the calendar and see when it gets closer..

Here's some event info from the PCA site: http://www.pnwr.org/calendar07/displ...08&Window=Same
I remember reading over on the "other" pcar forum that lasts years was a relatively small event like Tom mentioned. I'll try to see if I can find that thread and link to it.
And there seems to be two different times listed. PCA page shows 12:00 - 3:00.
The XXX page says 9 am.
Perhaps the 9 am time is the show up time, and the noon time is the informal concours?

Bummer...thats a long haul for a funky little thing. However, I think I may see what the weather looks like when we get within a weeks reach of this thing. Also, its not like there's nothing to do in the Seattle area if things blow.
I guess it takes 1 guy to cheer lead something like this and get the other 928's out there. Maybe a PACNW 928 GTG/Drive that can grace the XXX lot. It would be a good excuse for our region to get together.
....hmmmm....I could always go for a tall glass of frosty rootbeer...or two!

Keith... probably be about 100 p.cars there, a half dozen sharks.
Weather might be ok, for the time and place.
The food is good, so's the root beer.
G'luck.
