What an idiot! He scratch up his wrist! Why did he have to take off his shirt?? I have heard this dude admit he knows nothing about cars! Guess he doesn't know anything about bikes either! lol The show is interesting sometimes. And it's really bracket racing, doesn't matter how fast your car really is, as long as it is consistant, and doesn't blow up, and you negotiate a good head start!

 

I think the show sucks too. Liked the first few shows and that's it. BUT it has be a whole lotta fun to go run the **** out of a suitable 928. So I'm thinking a wicked dose of nitrous. Can't imagine slamming a Chevy SB in there..........where's the fun in that. I do have a motor I would sacrifice to the nitrous gods. Besides if we fielded a car all you guys would wacth that episode. Doesn't have to be a 10 second car either..........as the field is grouped and handicapped by their dial-ins (show fans correct me if I'm wrong). The only butchery I can see as vital would be a rear end swap with proper drag gears.

Pinks "All Out" is decent to watch but the regular Pinks format is lame sauce however I watch it all of the time.. I've only seen an import win one time. And that was a 2nd generation Supra against a Big Block Chevelle on the bottle.

liked it at first... but now it's all notchback mustangs vs. tubbed mustang GTs. Woohoo... and rednecks who think that intimidation is the same as negotation. No thanks.

Alot of drag racers do put on alot of antics . I have met a few in my years at the gas station, and they to feel you out before letting you know as little as possible about their ride.

 

One of the dumbest car shows out there.


"ok dude, ill take on your 928 if...you do this..do that...then do this...i get a 4 car lengths head start....your 1st gear is locked out....you use street tires...your windshiled washer is unhooked, you remove your rear wing, and your emergency flasher relay is removed....."

I once saw a guy on Pinks with a fake nitro's system. He just stuck a bottle in the trunk so that the other guy would ask for him to take it out. That was genious.

 

EXACTLY. I want to see a straight up show.

 

i loved that one, it was like a '78 924 with a 350 in it against an 1100HP nitrous'd astrovan lol.

 

I saw that one too. I thought it was a cool ploy, but the guy lost anyway.

I'd love to see a 928 on there, but we're not exactly part of their 'target demographic'.

It might just be unique enough to get in though.
