Post GEEEE T2

Well, had an encounter with a GT2 here in Vegas a few days ago on the way to work! WHAT A SWEET LOOKING AND SOUNDING CAR.

I pulled up behind him at a light and saw GT2 on the rear bumper, thought to my self "COOL" and when the guy looked back in the rear view mirror i gave him a thumbs up. He waved right back. He shot off from the light to the next interesection where we both were making a left turn on to Hwy 215 here in Vegas. Its a dual left turn lane on to an on ramp that later merges to a single lane and then the freeway. I had the outside lane (trust, me i could of had a 100 yd head start and it wouldnt have made a difference) Light turned green and we both eased off the line around the corner and onto the ramp. Then we both floored it. both our rear ends squatting... WHOOOOOOOOSH is all i heared from his exhaust and he was gone! Not even in the same the same league. I knew that the second i saw GT2 on the bumper earlier. I was closing on some traffic im my lane of the ramp so i eased off and over to the left...by the time we hit the free way at this point he was well a head of me. I pulled up next to him at 90ish looked over and gave him the Thumbs up again. He smiled and gave me one back. My exit came up quick and we went our way.

Just a sinister, powerful looking car! All Black, with plates that said "SPY" on it. Had the wing, ducting on the rear quarters and very nice wheels!
Gaaawd Ive got a list of cars SOOOOOOOooooo long that i want.
Wheres that lottery ticket

I feel your pain. Witness:

Smoked by a GT2 (35 MB)

This was at Buttonwillow. I followed a 996C4S for a lap and while passing him, a GT2 passes me. I botch the exit of the hairpin and he is looooong gone. In another league entirely, both driver and car.

I had to watch that a second time, first to listen to your car's lovely sound, second to watch the GT2 vanish on the horizon again... it gave me a good chuckle. I bet it wouldn't have looked much different if you had completely nailed the turn, him weaving quickly through the esses and >poof< how'd he get away so fast?!

So, what are those tires you were running?

If you listen to the soundtrack, you can hear me yell an obscenity as he rockets off. That's really the first car that's ever made my jaw drop by its rate of departure.

Did she look like this?.

This cat was "testing" his new ride. He said, I'm only to take her to half throttle, which was BTW, faster than a blur. As you can tell from the Pic, I had a Hell of a time getting her in focus.

DAmmmmmNNNNNNN - That GT2 walked away like no tomorrow - Are you sure that clip wasn't digitaly altered?. Wow! -

Holy Sucking Wind Batman!

WOW!

That car was wicked fast! How fun would that be to drive? I don't even want to know how expensive that car was compared to our 'cheap' sharks.

I am still shocked and awed!

I guess it's time to jump into my little beast and pretend I'm that guy. (yeah right)

Gawd, I've never seen a car walk (run?) away from me like that, and I'm out there in my '86.5. Oh, to have a spare $182k in my pocket.

Can't wait for the next track day...
