Six year thread necro. Last I checked one thing about using this self fusing tape is that it needs to be stretched a bit when applied. Wonder where I put the rolls I bought?

You have to stretch it to make it fuse to itself. Works very well, I've used it quite a bit on my wiring and to breaks in the orange loom to the alternator. This stuff doesn't tear or de-fuse itself. Wish I got it in black for the engine, I'm actually getting tired of all the orange accents everywhere.
