Post Help only one fan running

At lunch I noticed the temp rising higher than usual. When I got back I saw only one fan running. Any Ideas?

Carlos,

The S4 fans can run independently. What was your coolant temperature reading when only one fan was running? Is your car reaching the point it is overheating and only one fan operates or did you notice only one fan was running just after start-up?

Try the following test. Put key in ignition to on, but do not start the car. Put ventilation fan on "1", then push in the AC button. Both fans should be running. If not, then either the fan fuse is out or it's inoperative or the Final Output Stage (the finned box next to the hood lock) is defective.

Temp was high Jim but luck was on my side. Only corrosion on the fuse terminals.
