Default New Shark owner and gratuitous pics!

Hi everyone! New here to the Shark arena - been a rennlist thread stalker for quite some time now. I've enjoyed reading through the wealth of information here on this board as it has helped me quite a bit on my recent (and first) 928 project.

I recently purchased a "fixer-upper" for a reasonable price and have enjoyed every minute of it; aside from all the 928 quirks and lighter wallet experienced of course.

So far, the following has been completed on "Ole blue":
Fixed electricals - sunroof, windows, wipers, stereo, etc...
Water pump
Timing belt
Fuel pump
Fuel filter
Intake R&R
Porkensioner
Brake lines
Rotors
Pads
24# Ford Injectors
Crank case breather
Plugs, Rotors, Wires
X-pipe
Cat delete
Turbo twist wheels
Just to name a few... Next upgrade, AutoThority chips and paint job!

Here's the before and after photos.

Nice car/cars!
Paint looks good in the pics.
What year is the shark?
Is that an SC or a Carrera nose?
Welcome!

What year? I found that the chips do give a good throtle response for MY 85'. Nice color if you re-paint keep it the same color, looks great.

Welcome! I'll guess by your avatar that it is a '85-'86. I don't see an other pics.

Looks like you have done some lurking/research due to the list of things you have completed...

+1!

Very nice car. I see in your first post you went with the 'wallet lightening' option. Yeah mine had that too. I think it's so your wallet doesn't deform the leather when you sit in the driver's seat.
Step 1: buy 928
Step 2: put 928 up on jackstands
Step 3: Empty wallet buying 928 parts
Step 4: Put parts in while grinning like a little kid
Step 5: Start engine and giggle just a little inside
Step 6: Drive car out of garage for the first time
and you're on your way!

Welcome to the asylum, great looking car. Especially the engine!
