Has anybody used the 928 Specialist sdjustable read drop links? If so how do they work? I put a set of very cheap poly bushings on my front bar and it made a world of difference. I would like to tighten up the back just a tad. I run the stock springs with Bilstiens. Car is a 1981 S.
Thanks

I've had them on the GT for over three years now. They did stiffen the rear sway bar effect a bit. By my a$$ometer it seems to be about a 10% stiffening.
The factory got the rear sway bar just about perfect. Early testing of considerably stiffer rear sway-bars on a 928 turned out to be near disasters. They found that any significant increase in stiffness (more than 25% stiffer than OEM) resulted in horrendous oversteer.
The adjustable drop-links (which tie into the sway bar a bit forward of the normal mounting point) add just enough stiffness to allow the driver to still have a safe understeer/oversteer balance, while also allowing him/her to induce the rear end to step out a bit more easily than before. YMMV.

I imagine the rear suspension could be made more responsive with Delring(sp?) bushings. However, they probably would not contribute much towards making the rear-sway bar "stiffer". Just my $0.928.

i have the front and rear drop links and if i was doing it again id opt for something heftier on the front. they improve the low speed handling most notably and you can definitely feel an increased propensity to oversteer, but not to a worisome degree!
