This has probably been asked and answered, but I couldn't find answer. I have a 1985S that I just bought and am finding my way around the intricacies of the car. I understand that the central locking system and how it is supposed to work. When I lock the doors from the passenger side, both from inside and with the key from outside, the locks stay locked. When I try this from the drivers door, the locks cycle (like there is an open door). I notice that when the locks are down, I hear a click from the passenger side and then the door locks cycle open. Like I said, from the passenger side, it doesn't happen. Question is whether there is an adjustment problem on the passenger side? What could be the click sound that I hear when trying to lock from the dirver side? Is there a post somewhere on how to adjust these? TIA

Try this tip: <a href="http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/nichols/tip767.htm" target="_blank">Nichols' tip page</a>
Also here for a backup explanation: <a href="http://members.prestige.net/jpirtle/keepers/electrical/doors_lock_un-lock.txt" target="_blank">E-Mail Keepers</a>
Worked for me. Good luck.
