Check out my old 928 Strosek 4 sale....
Hi,
Just came across my old flame..
Man I spent a fortune on her...!
She looks good though...
I miss those rare 18" Rook rims...!
I overhauled the engine and had the tops ported.
She really came alive after 4000 rpm!
Almost like she was force fed or smt..!
Anyways, I thought you might like the photos...!
BTW..That scoop wasnt on the original kit..
I knicked that off a 928 hill racer with Roots blowers.
I put the more subtle Strosek bonnet on my GTS.
Made her look real pretty...!

Well she did that daily...!
She used to eat at least 2 or 3 of the old beetles per day (preferably the later models produced in Mexico), but when the new "golf" version came along she got very excited and we had to hunt down several every night just to appease my ferocious darlings appetite...
Thats the main reason why I sold her...
High maintenance man...!

I saw that car (again) yesterday almost totally covered in snow in Drammen Norway

But I am good!
When I sold her 3 years ago I was a very happy man....!
I spent way too much on her...
I could have bought a very nice GTS low mileage for the money I spent trying to make her perfect..!
I made sure when I bought my next 928 that it was in very good condition..!
But I am good!
