Then enlighten me and post a picture, if you can find one.

This one is a Club Sport GTE. I thought they would look the same.

BTW, does anybody still make that front bumper cover?

I haven't had time to look thru old photos. Once I do, if I'm able to find pictures of that car I will post them up.

Yes I owned it for about one year and drove it twice for about 40 miles. Just couldn't bring myself to drive it. I purchased it from a dealership that took it in on trade and didn't have any idea how special it was. I have never taken pictures of my cars, except for sale. I am sorry, but I am not a sentimental type. It was a gorgeous car. It is in the hands of a very knowledgeable private collector who wishes to keep all details private. He is a peculiar duck, but has no shortage of funds. 2V4V I think saw the car years ago before I moved, but he doesn't comment much on the list any longer.

It was very nice. I have heard that the forth C.S. is in the Pacific N.W. I don't think it is a bigfoot sighting either. It was detailed by several and service a couple times by a very reputable shop in Los Gatos California.

Enough about dreams any one of the four cars will bring a min of 60k and maybe as much as 100k. Crazy I know, but maybe worth it do to exclusivity.

Thanks,

Garrity

I just found this pic of a blue Club Sport on a website that was linked to from the 928Registry. This looks like the car I saw except it has the stock wheels. The one I saw had this really sharp looking thin spoke forged wheels painted to match the car. It didn't look like a pimped out S4 that some dude just slapped a bling sticker on, this thing was tight and was displayed along side some serious machinery including 935s, 962, 917s, and a bunch of other historic Porsches. It wasn't just a regular Sunday car show, it was the big annual national PCA event. I was there with a family friend who was showing his mint '73 911E Targa that he had a frame off restoration done at the Porsche factory when he was stationed in Europe. Real nice cars, I felt kinda out of place that day walking around as a poor college student....

Once Samuel's site goes back up there will be more pics..
First thing to look for..only one side rear view mirror (no passenger side)...
then the CS rims...8's and 9's
open the doors...will likely have sports seats..and the older style door panels (hidden door speaker)
could have the CS script on the front fender (only one side I believe ..drivers side)..

some of the engine mods..would be tough to see...as in lighter/smaller A/C compressor and smaller alternator..
Does anyone know what happened to Samuel's site?

Sorry about the wording..but that was the first thought that came to mind..and that particular car is a scam (I believe)..as it is likely an aftermarket conversion done on a stock 928 S4..and IMHO..it is a kinda crappy looking one at that..

The front spoiler is available from AIR..as a matter of fact..there is one of those sitting in my shop right now..waiting for Adam to put it on his 88 S4 ..

Notice the euro side marker..and the yellow fog light..likely one from France..and probably documented on Samuel's site...

Metallic blue CS is Samuel's '89 model. Its possibly only metallic blue CS made or at least very likely only such CS which pics are available in internet. These were taken in Euro 928 meet years ago.
