I agree that it is sad that the intermodel squabbling goes on. I hardly believe its limited to just Porsche. However, like Ed says, its mostly the minority. I've been to a couple of my regions PCA events and cant honestly remember anyone putting down my car for not being a proper Porsche. I can also say that i have met a few overbearing and loutish Porsche owners in my day too. They are also the minority and they are probably liked even less by their peers since they are the ones who lend creedance to the the old joke about the difference between a Porcupine and a Porsche. Based on how little of this behavior i actually see, I kinda get the feeling that the legend is bigger than the reality. Even so, none of it ever bothered me much at all. I bought the car I wanted. That being the case, i would also like to add a 944, a 356, an early 911 (pre'73), a 993 and a Boxster to my fleet too before i die.

I'm not sure my wife would agree to all that though.

I like porches too, especially the ones that are usually on the front side of the house. This way I can see my Porsche while sitting on my porch.
