Ed, I remember your post (because the visual of the beer fitting so well in the box) but wasn't sure if you were b.s.ing or not. There's actually a little duct that goes to that thingy.
Ed, you're the "Glovebox Guru".
Now we need a name for that. It can't just be the cold air vent thingy.

I'm so disappointed in you guys. You didn't know that 928s have a refrigerated glovebox? In fact, I knew I had one on my '86, but when I got the GT I saw that the airbag necessitated a new glovebox design and the old vent hose was no longer present. After some poking around I saw that the hose was also redesigned and the end of it is what you see in the picture posted.

OK Dan, betcha didn't know that if you ask nicely, those of you with supercharged cars can get "Supercharged" under your name...
