Just thought we would share another PO blunder.
This was found during yesterdays TB/WP change when we took off the T stat housing.
Surprise
Just one more possible reason your newly aquired car might overheat.

First time I've seen a T-stat wearing a condom ..... at least, the PO got the o-ring in correctly before screwing up.

Blunder? I'm wondering how that got in there other than being placed there intentionally! It looks like it doesn't fit through the inlet neck.. Maybe it did go through the inlet getting distorted. So, I guess it was accidentally dropped into the detached lower radiator hose. Weird.
