Default New 928 Model Display

Up until now, I could only show a fraction of my 928 model collection at my houe. A new display case (thanks to the nearby IKEA) has changed this. I thought I'd give those interested a quick tour...

That is a substantial collection. I especially like the checkered 928 ''flag'' .

I wish Autoart would come out with their 1/18 scale 928. Any news ?

I was in contact with the last week, and they still have no ETA.

As I said before. I expect it to come out with the Panamera, as a series. Then Porsche will claim a long history of V8 models, and sell these through its Selection program...

Thanks!

That case is about 1/3 of my collection another 1/3rd is on the shelf above the fire place, and the rest is boxed-up in the attic.

I have some of the models in varioui colors, but usually only display one color - for space reason. And I have two larger than 1:24 plastic models that might not be in the best of conditions, but are sure interesting. Once I decide where to put another case, I might put those out as well.

Nicole, Hi!

Nice collection!
I was on the Hooked on Cars web site and could not find something I swear was in there before. And that is, some nice new exhaust tips for my '84. Am I thinking of some other site? I have been unable to find them doing a web search...

If you do not carry them, any suggestions?

Those were for the later S4//GT/GTS models and are not currently available.

Great collection Nicole! Like the pascha 928 scarf too!

Regarding AutoArt & the 1/18 928. At the Amelia Island Concourse I was speaking with a model vendor & purchased the 1/43 scale MiniChamps red S4 from him. He mentioned that he had heard from a reliable connection that by the end of the summer/early fall, AutoArt would be coming out with the models. As Nicole said, to coincide with the Panamera. So lets all make room in our display cases!
